Melody Hensley is the Executive Director of CFI–Washington, DC and organizer of the annual CFI sponsored Women in Secularism national conference. Ms. Hensley has a background in volunteering and community building. She has been involved with church-state separation and secular activism, as well as reproductive rights and progressive issues, in the DC area for over a decade. She also serves on the advisory council for Secular Woman Inc. She lives in Washington, DC with her husband, Simon, and dog, Penelope.
